The Rev Dr. Seale was the founder and minister of the nondemonational Church of the Truth in NYC. He preached for 32 years to large audiences at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center and broadcast weekly sermons for more than 30 years. Seale's Church of the Truth has been seen as part of New Age or New Thought Philosophy which sees itself as the heir to not just ancient Greek and Roman thought, but the heir of Taoism and Buddhism as well.
