Inscription reads, "Best Wishes to John Rust Bill Boforth." Limited Edition copy "152 of 500" ink stamped on the title page. Black and white photographs and illustrations. Iver Johnson was born in Norway, apprenticed as a gunsmith, emigrated to American and worked for Allen & Wheellock Company. Later he formed a partnership with Martin Bye to manufacture an improved version of the Pepperbox Revolver, never realized. They also manufactured firearms, drills, reamers, leg-irons, handcuffs, toy tops, toy cap guns, bicycles, tricycles, baby walkers and a motorcycle. Ships same or next business day.
