All six books have edge and shelf wear, spines are slightly skewed and loose, tanning to endpapers, faded on spine, bumps on corners and spine ends, foxing on edges of pages. Volume I has some age spotting, tiny tear on head edge of last blank page and back free endpaper. Volume II has age spotting on first blank page to full title page and occasionally throughout text, small tears on top corners of pages 323-326. Volume III has occasional age spots throughout text, small rub on spine head. Volume IV's text block is loose from spine head, tear on top left corner of back board, some age spotting throughout second half of book. Volume V has more age spotting in the early pages, tan discoloration on back free endpaper, faint rub on spine.
