A truly unique binding of pure linen sailcloth over hand-beveled boards, with a spine of top-grain goatskin stamped in genuine gold foil. The decorative device on the front is an actual-size reproduction of a stylized sea urchin from a rare piece of ancient Hawaiian tapa cloth.
