Hardcover, Paris: Borel, 1900. Very Good. In French. Appears to have been originally bound in three quarters morroco with silk covered boards. The silk is mostly rubbed off leaving the boards showing through. Leather is still intact, though torn at the head of the spine. Marbled endpapers. Previous owner bookplate on front pastedown. Top page edges gilded and the gilt is bright and intact. This seems to be the Collection Nymphee edition. Printed on Japanese vellum. 50 copies were printed on Chinese paper and 50 on Japanese vellum. This is number 31 of 50. Signed by the publisher. Profusely illustrated. Japanese vellum is in Near Fine condition with no foxing or age spotting at all. Illustrations and text bright. Four pages of ads at the back. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall. [Item #46782]
