The titles were first published by Charles Scribner's Sons in 1903, 1905, 1907, and 1910. This listing is for the Easton Press edition which is a beautifully leatherbound facsimile reprint of the originals including all the wonderful illustrations. The 4 books in the set are: The Story of King Arthur and His Knights; The Story of the Champions of the Round Table; The Story of Sir Launcelot and His Companions; The Story of the Grail and the Passing of Arthur. All volumes bound in Easton Press full black leather with beautiful gold and red decorations. Luxury features include 3 raised bands on the spine, moirie silk endpapers, a sewn-in satin bookmark, gilded page edges, and archival quality paper pages that are sewn (not glued) into the binding. Set is Near Fine. King Arthur and Champions have slightly slanted spines with minor rubbing to the bottom edges of their covers. Launcelot has a minor scratch in the side page edge gilt. Grail has a minor defect to the bottom page edge gilt. Ships same or next business day very well protected in a box.
