Author was a Texan with 30 years of Federal Service in the Border Patrol. He claimed to be the fastest and deadliest pistolero of his time. This book was primarily written to serve as a law enforcement officer's combat text book. It is filled with gun fighting equipment and techniques and covers every aspect of real combat shooting. Book's spine slightly slanted. Minor edge wear. Small bumps on bottom corners and spine ends. Moderate soiling, tanning, and foxing to edges of pages. Text is clean. Dust jacket has normal edge and shelf wear. Creases and tears on corners and spine ends. 3/4-inch tear with creases on tail edge of front cover. 1/2-inch and 1-inch tears on head edge of back cover. Yellowed. Thin scratches on back cover. Dust Jacket now protected in Mylar.
