His poetry appeared in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Vanity Fair, and other prestigious periodicals. Previous owner bookplate on front pastedown. Small envelope with note inside tipped onto front pastedown. Handwritten note reads "I'm nuts about this - have you read it? (God I hope not) Here's happy something or other Sal." Small previous bookseller lable on free endpaper. Bound in publisher's blue cloth covered boards with gold cover decorations and spine titles. Rear cover has quite a few white rub marks. Both ends of spine bumped - worse at tail of spine. Corners rubbed. Cover edges have minimal shelf wear. Covers now protected in mylar. Page edges tanned with minor soiling.
