Illustrated with color plates, 4,000 illustrations in the text, and 96 full page black and white plates. The complete set is more than 3,600 oversize pages. Full color frontispiece on each volume. Volume I boards slightly bowed. All boards lightly scratched, but relatively clean. All boards show slight signs of shelf wear along edges. All spines slightly faded and discolored. Ends of spines rubbed. Bottom corners gently bumped on all volumes. Page edges slightly soiled and slightly foxed. Text and illustrations clean and bright. No previous owner marks.
