It was one of the most sumptuously decorated ships of all time and its lines and design were scaled up for some of the frigates and sloops of the 1750s. This book includes photographs of the author's model of the ship, a guide to the ship's elaborate decorative scheme, and over 200 drawings of every aspect of the ship. The book's binding is very gently bumped at both ends of the spine, upper right hand corner of front board bumped. Corners gently bumped. Thumb mark on half title on title pages. Text, photos, and drawings all clean and bright. Dust jacket is mostly bright with some fading to spine. Dust jacket has wear at bottom of spine including tears and wrinkling.
