Bound in publisher's olive cloth with gold cover and spine titles and decorations. Spine a bit age darkened, corners gently rubbed, front and back cover have some rub spots. Friedrich Wilhelm Victor August Ernst (1882-1951) was the Crown Prince of the German Empire until November, 1918. He was 30 years old when this book was published in 1912. It consists of his true stories from hunting trips around the world. He describes hunts after elephant in Ceylon, tiger in India, pig-sticking in India, Alpine ibex in Italy, stag in Austrian Silesia, wood grouse in the Black Forest, roe-buck in Silesia, grouse in Scotland, chamois in the Alps, and more. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 131 pages.
