When you hold this book in your hands, it's obvious that Easton's Deluxe Editions are a cut above their usual books and are the best Easton has to offer. Although not marked in any way, this particular copy belonged to Donald C. Farber - Vonnegut's long time personal friend, lawyer, and co-executor of his literary estate. Farber was also a major Broadway agent who wrote several books about entertainment law as well as a memoir about the celebrities he worked with. You can find interviews with Don about Vonnegut online including one on Chuck Palahniuk's site. You can also find a letter to the editor of the New York Times Don wrote defending Vonnegut. From the estate of Donald Farber and his wife Ann Eis. This book is truly New. Don and Ann never opened it - they never even opened the Easton Press box it came in. This book is still sealed inside the Easton Press shipping box. The box is still sealed close and I have not opened it, the photographs of the book on my site are actually of a different copy of this same title. I know the book inside the box is the one I'm describing because of the Easton Press serial number printed on the outside of the sealed box (and because I don't think Easton would send the wrong book to Vonnegut's own personal lawyer). This is a new copy of a book Easton is sold out of and can't make again. Ships same or next business day very well protected in a box (Easton box inside my box). ; Signed by Author. [Item #77479]
