Although not marked in any way, this particular copy belonged to Donald C. Farber - Vonnegut's long time personal friend, lawyer, and co-executor of his literary estate. Farber was also a major Broadway agent who wrote several books about entertainment law as well as a memoir about the celebrities he worked with. You can find interviews with Don about Vonnegut online including one on Chuck Palahniuk's site. You can also find a letter to the editor of the New York Times Don wrote defending Vonnegut.
