Harrison County, Texas is in the Eastern part of Texas and borders Louisiana, it's seat is Marshall. Profusely illustrated with many photographs and some maps. Contains the story behind every official marker in Harrison County. Included are 26 structures designated by the Texas Historical Commission as Texas landmarks along with 54 others memorializing individuals and events in the county's history. Newspaper clipping of a very positive review of this book laid between pages 28 and 29, those pages are slightly discolored by the newspaper, it appears the clipping has been there since 1984. Crease in front cover that also affects the introduction and first few page of text. Creasing and rubbing to spine. Text and illustrations clean and bright.
