Aubrey (1626-1697) was a Welsh natural philosopher, archeologist, and folklorist. His best known work was Brief Lives, a collection of short biographical notes. His archeological work included recording many of the megalithic and field monuments in southern England, including Stonehenge. Previous owner wrote his name and address in black ink on the second front endpaper. Blind seal of previous owner (same guy) on half title page. The book is otherwise Fine.
