Marie was the author's wife. Author died in 1960, this book was published by his two children in 1977. Illustrated by Harold D. Bugbee, Ben Carton Mead, and Sahula-Dycke. George Autry was a Texas Panhandle cowboy, printer, writer, and artist who was friends with J. Evetts Haley and many Texas artists. He was also a lifelong member and VP of the Panhandle-Plains Historical Society. This book is a collection of his stories, poems, letters, and other musings.
