He became a hobo with the eventual goal of becoming a writer. He changed jobs frequenty and worked as a piano player, railroader, miner, melon harvester, ranch hand, prospector, and gambler. Written when he was in his 80s, this book is his memoir of the "fiddlefoot" period. Very Good: previous owner name and date on front free endpaper. Book gently bumped at head of spine.
