Luxury features include gilded page edges, archival quality paper that is sewn (not glued) into the binding, moire endpapers, raised bands on the spine, and a sewn-in satin bookmark. Part of Franklin's The Collected Stories of the World's Greatest Writers series. This is one of Franklin's best full leather bindings. Contains the stories The Tenth Clew, The Golden Horseshoe, The House in Turk Street, The Girl With the Silver Eyes, The Whosis Kid, The Main Death, and The Farewell Murder. Illustrated by Gary Kelley. Very Good condition with minor blemishes to page edge gilt on all three sides. Two spots of minor rubbing to leather on bottom edge. Top corners bumped. Top corner of pages 223-228 have staining and wrinkling. My guess is the previous owner spilled a bit of coffee on those pages. Ships same or next business day well protected in a box. [Item #69091]
