This edition is entirely reset with new material and re-designed. Black and white illustrations. "Here is a tale uncommonly rich in the love of life" writes Bruce Catton in his introduction. Ships same or next business day. Protected in an archival cover. Ends of spine are gently bumped, front hinge at bottom is slit for three inches but all is intact, end papers have bled onto the next two pages, previous two owners' names and/or information. All else is fine. Dust jacket has edge wear heaviest at ends of spine and corners, spine and front cover have several chips, top corners has small tears, front cover near fold crease has a quarter inch of top color missing. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 281 pages.
