With plates of photographs from the Rose Collection. A small page with a photo of Longley on one side and a photo of Black Jack Ketchum on the other laid in. Wild Bill Longley was one of the most dangerous gunmen of the Old West. The author wrote many books about outlaws and researched Longley over 20 years. According to Adams "This book gives some previously undisclosed facts about Bill Longley, but there are many mispelled words. Crudely printed, but a genuine contribution to western Americana." The author says in the copyright page that while he spent 20 years researching, he spent less than 24 hours writing and then printed it himself.
