He published 12 books about being a hobo and traveling across the US. His real name was Leon Ray Livingston and his hobo moniker was A-No.1. The year after Jack London died, Livingston published this memoir of their travels across America together. At the time Livingston and London were hobos together, London was just 18. Livingston remained friends with London for many years and London's widow knew Livingston and appears to have approved of this memoir. Bound in wraps that are now detached, but present.
