Our January, 2012 Catalog of Civil War Books. Prices range from $20 to $3,000. We have Regimental Histories, First Person Accounts by soldiers who actually fought in the war, and some hard to find books.

This catalog features five major authors - E.E. Cummings, Shirley Jackson, Flannery O'Connor, J.D. Salinger and John Steinbeck. For each of the five, we have assembled a collection of first published appearances of their poems, stories, and even novels. The first publication of Jackson's famous story "The Lottery" is here as is Steinbeck's "The Pearl of the World" which became his short novel "The Pearl." From Salinger we have several of his New Yorker stories including "A Perfect Day for Bananafish." The full catalog is the pdf file. We are still in the process of uploading pictures and descriptions to the rest of the website. The pdf file contains items not found anywhere else on our site.
